| I almost forgot I existed there for a second...or 2 months. Either way. Not much happening in the world of LBJ. Just same old shmitty shmit. Everything I suppose is going well. I'm enjoying Famous Dave's. Not making stellar cash, but with a little bit more time I will have most of my bills caught up, my car running (lord willing) and maybe enough money to try living on my own again. So I pay the ultimate sacrifice of free time in return for more hours at work. If you look for me, you may as well check Famous Dave's first.
Got a band rolling. Crimes of the Republic, or Welcome Back COTR if you're familiar with your late 70's sitcoms, is going to start face melting, peeling, and exfoliating within the next few months.
The members (thus far) include: Myself (Dokken) - Vocals
Butty Christ (Twisted Sister) - Bass
Luke Boedy (Quiet Riot) - Vocals/Sampling/Keys/Whatev
Shankzilla (Bon Jovi) - Drums
Steven Smedshammer (Motley Crue) - Guitar
I don't know exactly what we want to do. We intend on having fun, if you didn't notice by the adorable band monikers. We'll do something awesome with that, I assure you. Chances are there will be breakdowns aplenty, we're bringing back the mosh, and lots of chai tea.
So in summation, that's about it. My head is still swirling with all the changes that have taken, and are taking place, but each day is getting better bit by bit. I'm just going through life with a smile on my face. Ya know? Grit your teeth and do your best to be happy. I think that's the best advice I can give/take. Well mayb when I update in two months from now I'll have an address of a new place, a date for our first show, and a working motor vehicle. | | |
| So I had my run in with the man and they told me I had to pay $125 for driving without insurance right? Remember that? Ok well I thought it was all over and done with. Then a week ago I get a letter that says I have to pay $50 to get a new license since I was driving without insurance. Well, fantastic I'll get that taken care of too. Oh by the way if you don't do it by the 8th we'll suspend your ass.
Well here is a check in my hand from yesterday. The 5th of October, when I planned to go and pay for this retarded new license. Guess what gang, the fucking driver's license department is closed the 5th and 6th...meaning it opens again when??? The 8th!!! That's right, just in time to get my license suspended! I swear man, it's a conspiracy to get the jews once and for all.
So who wants to bet that once I go in at 7:00AM (I plan on being first in the fucking joint) on Monday the 8th. That they tell me, "Oh, sorry it looks like your license is suspended. You were to have this taken care of before today." I got a bad feeling about this. | | |

| I live with my mom and dad again, as a result of recent eviction, as a result of living with weedheads (no hard feelings fellas).
You know, lately I'm lonely, and it sucks. I've got my family back, I have friends that I love and that I've been seeing plenty of lately, but everything that has been going down lately has left me feeling vulnerable(?) and lonely.
I'm happy and all that jazz, I just got a new job at Granit City so I'm pumped about that. I don't think I'm going to keep working overnights, I might do a couple every other weekend just to keep some extra cash in my pockets, but we'll see. It's been an abscence of romance that's doing it to me.
I know it's partly or mostly my fault, but I don't know how to change it. I am, was, or might still be in a band. It's kind of disintersting for me right now though. I'm not really grooving that well with the music they're making. We'll see how that turns out.
Really I'm just trying to keep myself pre-occupyed with life. I feel if I'm not going to school, then that's the least that I can do. And school, that's a whole 'nother can of worms that I don't really want to address right now. Sorry for the lack of updates, I'll catch up with you soon again though. | | |
